April 2025 – Climate Chance Europe–Africa Summit 2025: RESALLIENCE Committed to Accelerated Adaptation

Monday 2 March 2026 - News

RESALLIENCE participated in the Climate Chance Europe–Africa Summit 2025, held on March 31 and April 1 at the Palais du Pharo in Marseille. The event is recognized as the largest European event ever dedicated to climate adaptation.

Bringing together between 1,500 and 2,000 participants from more than 40 nationalities, and uniting European institutions, local governments, businesses, NGOs, and scientists, the summit aimed to strengthen Europe–Africa dialogue and accelerate the deployment of operational adaptation solutions.

On March 31, Philippe Sohouenou spoke during the workshop “Adapting Public Transport in Africa,” co‑organized by CODATU, i.e. a key session addressing mobility challenges in the face of intensifying climate hazards.

On April 1, Frédéric Delafosse presented RESALLIENCE’s innovations in water and flood management at the Pitch Corner. This topic was central to the summit, which devoted several sessions to hydraulic strategies for vulnerable territories.

RESALLIENCE’s participation helped enrich discussions on local solutions, transcontinental cooperation, and the need to accelerate the operationalization of adaptation across territories.
