June 2025 – Mitigation & Adaptation Conference by Construction21: RESALLIENCE Working Alongside Local Governments to Accelerate Adaptation

Thursday 5 March 2026 - News

RESALLIENCE participated in the conference “Adaptation and Mitigation: The Power of Local Governments,” held on June 11, 2025, at the French National Assembly, i.e. an important event led by Construction21 and placed under the high patronage of Member of Parliament Lionel Causse.

Hosted in the Colbert Room, the event brought together national experts, representatives from public agencies, local elected officials, and field practitioners to examine the central role of local governments in responding to accelerating climate disruption and meeting carbon‑neutrality targets for 2050.
Discussions focused on available operational levers, such as urban planning, energy, mobility, water management, and public assets, as well as the need to align adaptation and mitigation within coherent territorial strategies.

The panel sessions also highlighted innovative solutions, financing challenges, and the growing need to strengthen the capacities of local governments.

RESALLIENCE contributed to these essential discussions by sharing its experience in climate resilience and its work supporting territories in understanding and managing their vulnerabilities.
