Wednesday 18 March 2026 - News
On March 19 and 20, the MadAtlas Days will take place, organized by Université Gustave Eiffel and the University of Fianarantsoa, and dedicated to reviewing the program’s achievements and future perspectives. RESALLIENCE will contribute to the session focused on research and training oriented toward operational implementation.
For several years, RESALLIENCE has supported MadAtlas by strengthening local capacities in modeling future climate risks and mapping territorial vulnerabilities.
The workshops on the morning of March 20 will highlight the climate vulnerability atlas developed with doctoral students, the partnership dynamics driving cartographic innovation, and the initiatives undertaken to enhance student professionalization and skill development.
This collaboration reflects RESALLIENCE’s commitment to capacity building, the empowerment of local stakeholders, and the development of operational solutions to support territorial resilience in Madagascar.
